As part of the Phase 2 implementation of the SERVIR Program in West Africa, the Director General of the CSE (Centre de Suivi Ecologique) and his team hosted a delegation from NASA’s Scientific Coordination Office (NASA/SCO) and SERVIR West Africa Program. The delegation included Ms Oduor Phoebe (Continental Coordinator – Africa, NASA/SCO), and Mr Ashutosh Limaye (SERVIR Global Chief Scientist), along with colleagues from ICRISAT, Mr Pierre Sibiry Traoré (User engagement lead) and Ms Janet Mutuku (Scientific officer).

The meeting provided an opportunity for thorough discussions between NASA/SCO and CSE colleagues regarding the current status of services, encountered challenges, and potential areas where the NASA/SCO team could offer support for the implementation of SERVIR WA—a collaborative program by USAID and NASA, with ICRISAT taking the lead.
